The community of Tamborine Mountain lies within Tamborine National Park, located in the Lamington Range 35Km West of the Gold Coast. It comprises three villages set in rural and semi-rural environments: Mount Tamborine, North Tamborine and Eagle Heights. The area is a popular destination, particularly for visitors from Brisbane and the Gold Coast and attracts travellers from all over Australia and overseas who come to explore the Mountain's unique environment, rich rainforests, craft shops and spectacular views of the Granite Belt and Gold Coast, from Coolangatta to Brisbane.
